Abducted Child Found in Decatur - FOX 54 WZDX – Huntsville News, Weather and Sports

It was a scary situation outside the Decatur Mall Thursday evening as several police cars swarmed the parking lot.

Around 7:00PM, police tracked down 45-year-old John Augustine of Decatur.

Augustine was wanted for taking his 2-year-old daughter from a daycare in Homewood.

He does not have custody of the child.

The toddler is now in the care of a custodial family member.

As for Augustine, he will likely face charges from the Homewood Police Department.
