New Information on Fired Fyffe Police Officers

Posted: Updated:

We're learning more about the circumstances that led to two Fyffe Police Officers being fired earlier this week.

We've obtained documents that outline the complaints against officers Brian Warren and Anthony Majusiak.

The letters were given to the officers on July 13th.

Officer Majusiak's reads :
In November 2011 you were given a written warning by the mayor regarding a number of problems with your conduct, attitude and performance as a police officer for the Town of Fyffe. Since that time, despite being warned about your deficiencies, your conduct, attitude and performance have not improved the way they should have.

In general, your attitude has continued to be one of defiance, insubordination and willful disobedience to this office. The following are examples of your job deficiencies:

Willfully failing to communicate with mayor;
Disobeying and refusing instruction to allow your phone to be examined in response to an allegation that you had an obscene ringtone;
Failing to utilize camera and other equipment;
Failing to sign acknowledgment of receipt of vanous employment directives;
Showing disrespect to mayor and council when being questioned about attitude, conduct and performance on the job;
Publicly displaying disrespect to mayor including saying you are "far from being done with her," the meaning of which I do not know but the threatening tone of which cannot be mistaken;
Failing and/ or refusing to adequately document your job activities on the Daily LogForms.
