Controversy continues brewing in the small DeKalb County town of Fyffe.
Police Chief Jake Fowler says two officers involved in a bitter dispute with Mayor Katy Woodall received termination letters Tuesday.
Woodall placed officers Brian Warren and Anthony Majusiak on administrative leave July 13th.
The move came two days after the officers filed a complaint against Woodall and the Town of Fyffe.
Both claim the mayor was on a yearlong campaign to discredit, and eventually fire, them.
The Fyffe Police Department now has just two officers.
