1. A DeKalb County Detention officer was busted for DUI. State troopers arrested Lucas Yancey around 1:00 this morning after he hit a house on County Road 72 in Fyffe.

2. Police say 44 year old Phillip Foreman shot his stepson in the leg with a rifle during an argument. It happened Thursday night in Tuscumbia.

3. Officials are preparing for a major road improvement project in Scottsboro. Monday morning, crews will begin repaving a two mile stretch of Broad Street.

4. Fire Station 18 is now open on Greenbriar Road. The Jaws of life helped cut the ribbon for the first firehouse in land Huntsville annexed inside Limestone County.

5. Don Siegelman apologized to the people of Alabama. The former Alabama governor will face re-sentencing next week where he could go to federal prison on a bribery conviction.

6. A banner plane got stuck in a tree after missing the runway at a New Jersey Airport. The pilot was trapped in the plane some 40 feet above ground.

9. Tori, the smoking Orangutan, was moved to a private island to break the bad habit. Zookeepers say Tori's been hooked for a decade because visitors keep throwing her lit cigarettes.
