Florence police have arrested a man for a deadly shooting that happened around 8:30 Thursday night.

The victim was shot several times near Central Avenue and South Connor Street in East Florence.

According to The Times Daily the suspect, Raymond Clemmons, turned himself in to police sometime after 9:00PM.

The victim's identity has not been released.
