A woman was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning for injuries she sustained after a car accident on Delia Drive.
According to police, the woman was the driver of the green car seen in the picture. The car slammed into the silver car in the photo. The two drivers got out to exchange information, but police believe the silver car was never put in park, and rolled over the woman who drove the green car.
The woman was trapped under the bumper of the silver car until fire fighters and paramedics arrived to free her. She is being treated for what police call - serious but not life threatening injuries.
At this time, no criminal charges have been filed.
