Huntsville police are investigating a shooting that landed a teenager in the hospital.

Officers on the scene say a man shot his 18-year-old stepson in the stomach.

It happened just before 9:00PM Thursday at the family's home on Shady Lane Drive in northwest Huntsville.

The teen is being treated at Huntsville Hospital. His stepfather is in police custody.
