Disturbing letters from Franklin County landed a couple behind bars. Jennifer Milam and Seth Alexander are each charged with five felony counts of facilitating the solicitation of unlawful sexual contact with a child.
Investigators say the couple exchanged letters while incarcerated at the Franklin County jail detailing sexual acts they wanted to perform on children. They say in some of the letters, acts were described involving their own 17-month-old son.
Milam's sister-in-law Peggy Lowry discovered the letters and turned them in to authorities. She says the letters have torn her family apart.
"Its broke our hearts. Its shamed us. We were just concerned about the kids. I mean, somebody that can think up these things, what's going to stop them from actually doing them," says Lowry.
Milam was arrested Tuesday and is being held on $500,000 bond. Alexander turned himself in Thursday afternoon and is expected to appear before a judge on Friday.
