Fatal Wreck in Limestone County

One man is dead after an accident on Highway 72 on the Limestone County line.

Investigators say around 12:30 P.M. the driver of a blue sedan traveling Eastbound lost control on the bridge just past Bryan Hill Road.

The vehicle struck the guardrail and headed into oncoming traffic, where it smashed into a black sedan.

Police say the driver of the blue vehicle died at the scene and the woman driving the black vehicle was rushed to Huntsville Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
