A man who was shot eight times on Evans Circle Tuesday night is in stable condition.
The shooting happened around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night in front of a house on Evans Circle in northwest Huntsville.
Roy McDonald was the victim. He told police he went to the area to meet with a man known to him only as "Aaron".
After McDonald arrived the suspect produced a handgun and demanded his property.
McDonald gave the suspect his property. That's when the suspect shot him eight times in the arms, hands, and chest.
McDonald was transported to Huntsville Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
He is currently listed in stable condition.
This case remains under investigation.
