I grew up in Huntsville just outside the city limits. I went to elementary and middle school at Central School and graduated from Madison County High School. I am very grateful to be able to live and work in the same area where I grew up.
I continued public speaking throughout school and even had a chance to participate on the national level through the FBLA (that's a story for another post). I played football, basketball and baseball in middle school. In high school, I played basketball, tennis and football. As you can see, I am a big time sports fan. I was voted Mr. MCHS my senior year and am very proud to be associated with Madison County High School.
Several of my classmates and friends are active members of our community. Don Dukemineer works for the Huntsville Visitor's Bureau. Kim Britton is teacher at Huntsville High. There are many others.
The Tennessee Valley is home. I know Madison County. I know Huntsville. I look forward to bringing you the news here at home for many years to come.
