Meet Your FOX54 News Team

Your FOX54 News Team brings you news, weather, and sports from around the Tennessee Valley seven nights a week.

Aaron Leefy

Aaron Leedy, FOX54 Nine O'Clock News Anchor

Aaron comes to us from Indianapolis, where he was part of the FOX59 News Team. A graduate of Vincennes University, he's been on the air and behind the camera, and now he's enjoying some of the great things the Tennessee Valley has to offer.

spencer denton

Spencer Denton, Meteorologist

Spencer graduated from Mississippi State University MS in broadcast meteorology and has his first appearance on TV on WABG in Greenville, Mississippi as a weekend weatherman. His most memorable story took place right here in was the Enterprise tornado, when he got to talk with students and teachers about their experience. When he's not keeping the Tennessee Valley informed about the weather, he enjoys basketball, tennis, working out, and community involvement.

Ari Sarsalari

Ari Sarsalari, Meteorologist

Ari is thrilled to be part of the FOX54 Nine O'clock News Team. He is graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but loves the climate here-hot and humid with lots of thunderstorms. He also says, "Huntsville is also an amazing town. I've been all over the country throughout my life and I can honestly say without a doubt that this is the first place I feel like I could put down roots."

His most memorable story was having to evacuate the newsroom live on air as a tornadic storm came through! When he's not reporting on the weather, his hobbies include cooking, weightlifting, video games, watching hockey (he's a Boston Bruins fan), wrestling, and…cleaning!

 jillian pavlica

Jillian Pavlica, Weekend Anchor

Jillian came to Huntsville from Chattanooga, and is excited to call Huntsville home. She graduated from the University of Central Florida and is a Tampa Bay Lightning fan. Her most memorable story was also one of her hardest. She covered of the destruction from the April 27, 2011 tornadoes in Ringgold, GA and says, "It was a challenge for me professionally and personally to see and report the damage and deaths. I'll never forget this day or the lives that were lost."

When Jillian is not on the air, she enjoys watching hockey, working out, anything beach related, playing football, spending time with her family, friends, and her boyfriend, Vincent.
