(MYFOX NATIONAL) - San Francisco Supervisor Chris Daly has made a New Year's resolution that may offend some people.
Daly, who is known for his outrageous behavior, said he will use the "f-word" at every Board of Supervisors meeting in 2010, according to Fox News .
He made his intentions known during a committee meeting Thursday uttering his first public "f-word" of the year. Daly said his resolution is in response to a Bay Guardian newspaper article that ripped him for his previous usage of "f--- you" during a meeting.
"I do want to warn the easily offended," Daly said. "I just updated my Facebook page vowing that in 2010 I'll use the word f--- in every Board of Supervisors meeting."
Daly isn't sure how long he'll be able to keep his resolution, however.
"If it's anything like last year's resolution to go to the gym more, I'll probably peter out by February," Daly told SFweekly.com . "But that doesn't mean you can't have a strong January."
Board of Supervisors President David Chiu said he dropped off a bar of soap at Daly's office encouraging Daly to use it to clean up his language.
Some of the world's most influential politicians including Barack Obama, Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair, have been caught dropping the "f-bomb."
