Rock Band fans are eagerly awaiting the September 9 release of the "The Beatles: Rock Band" video game. The playlist of songs for folks to rock to has been released.

Over 44 songs will be available spanning from their first hits through the "Let It Be" album.

"The Beatles: Rock Band" web site says the game was developed with Apple Corps, The Beatles company, the game provides a true to life gaming experience and is packed full of fab extras.

09-09-09 promises to be a big Beatles day with the release of "Rock Band" as well as a CD box set of their entire catalog, digitally re-mastered for the first time.

Users will also be able to separately download the album Abbey Road after the game has released.  The game will be available for Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
